Sharni Vison, an Australian-American dancer and actress was born 22 July 1983 in Sydney Australia. Sharni Vinson debuted as an actor in 2001 as she appeared in an appearance on Home and Away, a soap opera based in Australia. In the small role she was in she performed such that the casting director was compelled to have her play all the roles. While she tried for the role, it was not selected. The role was instead set on the show as Cassie Turner, a struggling girl living within foster homes. Both the critics and fans of the show praised the role she played. She went on to flourish as an actress on television in a variety of television shows including A Friend to Die For which debuted in 1994.
