Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and animal rights advocate in the United States. She has been acclaimed by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). Growing up in an artistic family living in New York she wished to work in the field of art. After working as an assistant to photographers, she turned her attention to modeling and acting. The actress was awarded her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as an aspiring young actor. MacGraw's movie Love Story proved a major hit and fetched her worldwide fame and several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. The film was recognized as the most successful female box-office star of the world after only three movies. In 1972, her footprints and autograph were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Her other credits comprise The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and many more. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
