Kelly Michelle Stables was raised in St. Louis St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. Kelly Michelle Stables graduated with distinction in the class of 2004 from The University of Missouri Columbia in Columbia, MO. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater and Communication. She began her career in Los Angeles as a theater artist, performing and choreographing around 20 plays and musicals. These included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. She also performed seven titles at Los Angeles' Storybook Theatre. Kelly started landing movie and television roles after she learned improvisation, and later became a Theatre West company member. Her voice and petite stature have made her able to take on a range of diverse roles. The actress is well known for her role alongside Naomi Watts taking over the part of the villainous Samara in The Ring 2 but is most well-known as the bubbly bright receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly played a part in a regular show in TV Land's The Exes between Between 2011 and 2015. Kelly played both a paralegal as well as a nightclub goer. Kelly also played a role in the role of Alyssa's smart, sassy sister in the ABC show Romantically Challenged and as the mother of a stressed suburban family in the CW series No Tomorrow. She has lent her soprano singing voice to various cartoons including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Her most recent performance was as a dim but lovable Cloud 9 staffer on NBC's super-hit comedy Superstore. She lives a quiet life that is quite quiet, married to her two children. She is a lover of sewing as well as write, and she also volunteers in schools.
