Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she performed in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with a BA (with distinction) in Communication and Theatre. While in Los Angeles, Kelly quickly started to become involved in the theater world. She has performed as well as choreographed over two dozen shows. Kelly pursued her improv study with The Groundlings, and joined Theatre West as a Company Membership. As a result, she started landing roles in films and television. Kelly's distinct voice and diminutive size have enabled her to portray a range of different roles. Her work has included Naomi Watts in The Ring 2 as evil Samara, but she is most well-known for her radiant and bubbly receptionist from Two and a Half Men. Kelly was a regular on TV The Land sitcom The Exes between 2011 and the year 2015. Kelly played Kelly as the paralegal by night and as a party-hopper during the late at night. Additionally, she played Alyssa's smart sexpert sister on ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the The CW's No Tomorrow she played a stressed suburban mom. Soprano was her voice for various animated shows like Tom & Jerry, Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins. Recently, she has appeared as the sly and charming Cloud 9 employees on NBC's Superstore. Her private life is that is quite quiet, with her husband and two kids. She enjoys sewing and writes and is a volunteer at schools.
